Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the unique pharmacology of buprenorphine.
  2. Formulate a plan to convert a patient from a pure mu opioid to buprenorphine.
  3. Summarize patient specific recommendations for the use of buprenorphine in special populations.
