Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across the Military Health System (MHS). A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Summarize scope and impact Formulary Management has on the TRICARE pharmacy benefit.
  2. Describe the mission and responsibilities of the DoD Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee and the Formulary Management Branch.
  3. Discuss the Utilization Management Tools used to manage the TRICARE pharmacy benefit.
