Maj (Dr.) Kathleen Pombier is Chief of the Women’s Health Clinical Management Team at the Defense Health Agency in Falls Church, Virginia. She serves as a leader in the identification in gaps in clinical standards across the Military Health System, developing policy, procedural instructions, administrative instructions, and practice recommendations to standardize clinical performance across military healthcare system. She creates implementation strategies for 9 networks and 41 MTFs on enterprise-wide DHA policy execution to optimize care for 9.6M. In collaboration with 11 clinical areas, she works to increase care quality and safety for 1.4M AD and 30K births.
