Nellis AFB Dental: Management of Crown Fractures in the Pediatric Population
This presentation focuses on the evaluation and management of crown fractures in the pediatric population. It reviews clinical decision-making based on fracture type, pulp status, and stage of root development, with emphasis on evidence-based treatment approaches. The course incorporates current guidelines and case-based discussion to guide management of uncomplicated and complicated crown fractures, including considerations for immature and mature permanent teeth. Practical application is emphasized to support timely diagnosis, appropriate treatment selection, and improved patient outcomes in pediatric dental trauma.
