Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for social workers and psychologists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Comprehend how the Navy defines Resiliency through the lens of Warrior Toughness and conceptualize Resiliency as Readiness.
  2. Describe operational stressors and the role of resiliency training in mitigating psychological stress injury.
  3. Introduce formative program evaluation of a team-based resiliency training model for forward-deployed forces in the expeditionary environment.
  4. Develop additional strategies for practice within the operational context.

    As a Jointly Accredited Organization, DHA, J7, CEPO is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.00 General continuing education credits.
