48th Dental Squadron: Temporomandibular Joint Disorder and Orofacial Pain – Part 1
This live, in-person course will address “Temporomandibular Joint Disorder and Orofacial Pain” to support the dental providers with the 48th Dental Squadron. This course will include a lecture, discussion and hands-on exposure to the field of orofacial pain.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for dentists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the anatomy and physiology of the temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) and supporting structures.
- Diagnose muscle and joint derangements.
- Utilize a protocol for initial exams to aid in accurate diagnosis.
