Rethinking Suicide
Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) Social Work Internship Program, in conjunction with Fort Campbell Installation Advisory Group is hosting Dr. Craig Bryan, leading suicidologist, who is providing a lecture on suicide prevention. This program is open to BACH behavioral health providers, Chaplains, and command teams of the 101st Airborne Division. This lecture explores how behavioral health and commanders think about suicide risk and improving intervention efforts from clinicians and commands.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers and certified counselors. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the relationship between mental health conditions and suicide.
- Describe the multiple pathways model of suicide.
- Identify the five levels of the prevention through design model.
