Pharmacy Leadership Course

October 6, 2025 to October 7, 2025

The Pharmacy Leadership Course is a live online course that provides pharmacy leaders with essential knowledge in areas ranging from Human Resources to specialized pharmacy topics, preparing them to be effective supervisors at both section and department levels.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Apply HR and labor-management principles to supervise and support pharmacy staff in alignment with DPMAP and DHA policy.
  2. Navigate DHA structures (POD, DPAB, MOUs) to ensure policy compliance and operational alignment.
  3. Utilize manpower tools (DMHRSi, CPOC) to assess staffing needs and optimize personnel readiness.
  4. Manage acquisitions and formulary decisions using DHA protocols, budget tools (FMIS/IRIS), and formulary processes.
  5. Interpret budget and performance data to inform pharmacy operations and justify resource needs.
  6. Demonstrate leadership strategies that promote team development, accreditation readiness (TJC), and professional growth.
