Program Description

This in-person course will address indications and techniques for vital pulp therapy.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for dentists and dental technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Explain which pulpal and periapical diagnostic categories are conducive to treatment with an indirect pulp cap (IPC) or direct pulp cap (DPC).
  2. Describe proper caries and pulp management prior to an IPC or DPC.
  3. Identify material types and research behind materials used for an IPC or DPC.
  4. Summarize the importance of an immediate restoration when doing an IPC or DPC.
