Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and certified counselors. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify contributing factors that may potentially result in harmful results for a patient.
  2. Describe potential ADAPT concerns in cases of which are fully or primarily handled outside of ADAPT services but present with a chronic and severe alcohol use disorder (AUD) presentation.
  3. Summarize this medical incident investigation recommendations that may have ADAPT implications.
