Military Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation Advanced Conference
Program Description:
This live event is designed for clinicians who have experience assessing and treating individuals with vestibular hypofunction and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The course provides advanced training in common complex disorders such as concussion, migraine, and Meniere’s disease; surgical and pharmaceutical interventions; psychogenic considerations; and other considerations when working with individuals with complex dizziness in the military. The Advanced Course features didactic instruction covering vestibular function test interpretation (Rotary Chair Testing, vHIT and VEMPs). The primary target audience for this course includes physical and occupational therapists, audiologists, and physicians treating military beneficiaries and Veterans in Defense Health Agency and Department of Veterans Affairs health care facilities.
Target Audience
This activity provides continuing education for physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, audiologists and occupational therapists. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.
