Musculoskeletal Training Program for Primary Care Providers March 2025
Program Description:
This MSK training will describe the Active Duty and Veterans’ Holistic Musculoskeletal Management and Enhancement (ADVet HOMME) program: a collaboration between the Uniformed Services University’s Consortium for Health and Military Performance (USU-CHAMP) and the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), designed to equip DoD and VA primary care providers (PCP) with MSKD assessment tools and treatment algorithms, ultimately decreasing excess referrals and improving patient outcomes. The ADVet HOMME program utilizes the Women’s Health MSK Education Program, authored by the Salt Lake City VAMC Women’s MSK Health Training Team, that facilitates PCP evidence-based decision-making and provides patient-focused home MSKD rehabilitation programs.Musculoskeletal MSK Training Program for Primary Care Providers March 2025 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Training Program for Primary Care Providers- March 2025
