Program Description

Dr. John Corbett presents his thesis, “Use of Autogenous Dentin as a Graft Material for Alveolar Ridge Preservation and Dental Implant Placement” to dental providers stationed at Nellis AFB. The presentation explores how autogenous dentin graft is an effective solution during alveolar ridge preservation and its potential applications within the military setting.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for dentists, dental hygienists and dental technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Identify bone grafting with the use of autogenous dentin graft.
  2. Distinguish compositional and physiologic differences between the different bone graft materials.
  3. Discover the effect of autogenous dentin relative to conventionally used bone graft.
