Lt Col Anderson serves as Support Flight Commander for the 59^th Dental Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio. He is a dentist specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2010 and his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of Washington in 2021. He entered the USAF in 2010 and completed a 1 year AEGD at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. Afterwards, he practiced general dentistry at RAF Lakenheath in the UK, and Hurlburt Field, Florida. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
