Dr. Anita Fligge is the Director of Federal Health and General Manager of CMS, LLC at DAWSON, a Native-Hawaiian Organization 8(a) Small Business. In these roles, Dr. Fligge oversees program management and execution to support the Military Health System, Army National Guard, and other Federal partners while continuing to build strong relationships and expand the healthcare services portfolio.

Dr. Fligge retired from the Air Force as a Brigadier General after 32 years of service in both Active Duty and Reserves. Her last assignment was at the Defense Health Agency as Director of the J-3/5/7 (Operations, Strategy, and Training) and the Agency’s Chief Nursing Officer. Dr. Fligge’s expertise includes executive leadership, enterprise management, strategic planning, clinical project management, quality improvement, education & training, flight nursing, blood management, and emergency department nursing.

Dr. Fligge received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Old Dominion University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University.
