  1. Discuss the history of the Department of Defense (DoD) relationship with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the use of investigational products and future medical product development.
  2. Analyze the basic elements of Public Law (PL) 115-92 as it relates to the expansion of the DoD’s emergency use authorization provisions and the enhanced engagement relationship with FDA.
  3. Comprehend the impact of PL 115-92 on DoD medical product development and opportunities for continued innovation.
