Mickaelle Germain, M.Div., M.P.H., B.S.N.
Air Force Lt. Col. Mickaelle M. Germain serves as the Chief of the Clinical Training Program (CTP) Operational Management Office, Military Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Operations Division in the Education and Training Directorate of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Falls Church, Virginia. She oversees the Tri-Service CTP for Graduate Health Education (GHE) supporting joint training requirements for 212 clinical sites and 18,000 students yearly. Lt. Col. Germain also manages CTP course standardization across the Military Health System, to include risk management, and directs the activation and deactivation procedures for 36 officers and enlisted force generating programs. As the DHA Liaison to the Medical Center for Excellence, Navy Medicine Training Support Center, Navy Medical Force Support Center, and the 59th Training Group, she serves as a consultant and advisor to the military treatment facilities’ and dental treatment facilities’ integration of metrics to assure program integrity.
Prior to her current duty assignment, Lt. Col. Germain was dual hatted as the Chief Nurse and Health Care Integrator at the 49th Medical Group of Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico, where she led 135 nursing/enlisted staff members deliver care to a 17,000 base population while simultaneously planning, directing, and executing population-based health initiatives.
