Dr. Lindsey L. Monteith is a Clinical Research Psychologist in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Rocky Mountain Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center for Suicide Prevention. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in the Departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, and the Firearm Injury Prevention Initiative. Her research focuses on Veteran suicide prevention, with emphasis on historically underserved populations, such as women Veterans, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Veterans, and survivors of interpersonal violence.
