Dr. Ailani is the Director of the Medstar Georgetown Headache Center and Professor of Clinical Neurology at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Ailani completed her Neurology training at New York University in New York, New York and a headache fellowship at the Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Ailani is on the board of the American Headache Society as Secretary, vice chair of the Leadership committee, and is chair of the membership committee and awards committee. She also serves as an advisor to the National Headache committee. Dr. Ailani is dedicated to improving the care provided to patients with headache disorders.
