Dr. Koslo is retired La Leche League Leader and current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Dr. Koslo is a registered nurse with Labor and Deliver Room/Postpartum (LDRP), mother/baby and high-risk perinatal experience. She is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a family practice specialty focus. She also earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree due to her passion for maternal-child health issues, especially lactation. Dr. Koslo was a Past President of the Alaska Breastfeeding Coalition and Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator for the Alaska Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Breastfeeding. Her experience includes several years in both Indian Health Services and a Federally Qualified Health Center that achieved Patient-Centered Medical Home status. She also has five years of experience in the Military Health System (MHS) as a provider in outpatient pediatrics at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) Hospital, Anchorage, Alaska. She is also a wife of a former Marine and the proud mother of an active-duty servicewoman in the U.S. Air Force.
