Erica Hope, M.D.
Army Major Erica Hope completed a 6-year Bachelor of Science / Doctor of Medicine program at Northeastern Ohio Medical Universities. She was accepted to Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics residency followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology, both at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Since then, Army Major Hope has served as a gynecologic oncologist and core faculty member at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, with an active teaching role for both medical students and resident medical education. She was awarded Assistant Professor status at F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University, and recently selected as the Assistant Program Director for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. Army Major Hope is the chair of the human papillomavirus (HPV) working group for the Defense Health Agency Women and Infant Clinical Community.
