Clesson Turner, M.D.
Clesson Turner, M.D., is a pediatrician, clinical geneticist, and clinical-molecular geneticist at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He is particularly interested in implementation of genomic medicine in the military health system. Prior to retiring from the Army, Dr. Turner served as the Chief of Genetics at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the Chief of Cancer Genetics at the Murtha Cancer Center. He is currently Interim Director of the Uniformed Services University initiative in precision medicine, PRIMER (PRecision medicine Initiative for Military Education and Research).
