Ms Miller’s twenty five year portfolio began in Med-Surg nursing at Tripler Army Hospital in Hawaii and transitioned into case management in 2002.  Ms Miller’s Case Management experience areas are in home health, Solder Recovery Unit (formerly WTU), hospital inpatient, inpatient Poly-Trauma rehab,  outpatient family medicine at Landstuhl Regional Medical hospital and currently working as regional Nurse Case Manager with Medical Readiness Command West. She received her certification in Case Management in 2010 through the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) and is a current member of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA).  Her focus on positive health outcomes developed into an interest in integrating health coaching and motivational interviewing techniques into case management practice to improve patients’ self-management behaviors.
