Program Description: This training is intended for mental health providers across the DAF. Program Description: The DHA Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) Competency Training is conducted for new DHA hires (psychologists, social workers, LPCs) working as BHCs in primary care. The training aims to familiarize new trainees with the PCBH model of care delivery that is used in primary care clinics. The training will have didactic components as well as the use of role plays and experiential activities to familiarize trainees with the unique skills required to function optimally as a BHC.
