Program Description

This activity is a part of the Womack Army Medical Center Pharmacy Monthly Training Series. This iteration will highlight the use of individual and organizational resilience & well-being strategies to thrive.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Define well-being and identify internal/external factors affecting individual resilience.
  2. Review the academic literature addressing organizational employee engagement in the general workplace and within the pharmacy workforce.
  3. Discuss ways that managers within organizations support employee engagement.
  4. Assess individual well-being using the 9-Item Well-Being Index (WBI).
