2025 Womack Army Medical Center Grand Rounds: Craniomaxillofacial Trauma

Program Description: 

This live course will present vital information for the care of patients with severe maxillofacial trauma. Dr. Jenzer will share approaches and techniques developed as a Crainiomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow and author of Introduction to Contemporary Orthognathic Surgery.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, psychologists, dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize signs and symptoms of the following fracture patterns: mandible, maxilla, orbits, zygoma, nasal, and combinations.
  2. Analyze basics of soft tissue trauma and associated emergencies.
  3. Identify how craniomaxillofacial fractures are fixed for reference and deeper understanding.
