Military Psychological Health Research Dissemination Series: Loss of PTSD Diagnosis in Response to Evidence-Based Treatments: A Systematic Review & Meta Analysis

PTSD is a severe mental health condition that affects service members. Several evidence-based therapies have been proven to reduce PTSD symptoms and, in some cases, lead to a loss of the diagnosis. This activity improves understanding of how to use current research to inform clinical decision-making. Join the Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE) for a live-virtual event on July 31, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET. This activity is intended for military healthcare professionals across the Defense Health Agency and the Department of Defense. Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social workers, psychologists, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Identify proportions of PTSD diagnosis loss at posttreatment for multiple evidence-based psychotherapies.
  2. Describe the difference in response between military/veteran (milvet) and non-milvet samples.
