Limb Trauma Educational Series (LTES): Vascular Techniques
Program Description
This presentation will discuss Vascular Techniques through the work up and open surgical management of vascular injuries. Arterial injury and reconstruction and venous injury will be covered in the context of limb salvage.

Learning Objectives
- Summarize the various techniques related to vascular surgery.
- Identify shunts and sutures appropriate related to injury and transport of patients.
- Discuss techniques that are used to minimize stenosis.
- Describe how to control arterial hemorrhage in an injured limb and in-depth knowledge of procedures to consider early to help minimize damage.
