Program Description:
This presentation discusses how Global Health Engagement (GHE) positively impacts clinical readiness, policies and regulations surrounding GHE, and the importance of understanding international standards of care.

- Summarize the rationale for DOD Global Health Engagements.
- Identify pertinent regulations and policies applicable to Global Health Engagement.
- Discuss how Global Health Engagement can increase clinical readiness through exposure to cases not regularly seen in daily practice.
- Describe how global health engagement improves clinical practice by requiring an in-depth review and knowledge of their clinical practices to interact and assess practices in other settings.
- Discuss the advantages of understanding international standards of care and relating them to their own clinical settings.
