DHA-US1331: Overview of Stakeholder Programs: Your Role in Sustainment Workshop - 2025

Program Description: 

Sustaining the adoption of MHS GENESIS requires strong management structures and End Users equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to handle any Health Information Technology (HIT) initiatives. The DHA Health Informatics End User Engagement (EUE) Team is hosting live workshops on the Sustainment Stakeholder Program to address this topic. This program is targeted to Commanders/Directors, Chief “x” Informatics Officer (CxIO), Informatics Steering Committee (ISC), Middle Manager, and Peer Expert Stakeholders in support of MHS GENESIS. This training will help participants to understand each stakeholder program and their respective role(s) in sustaining system and workflow changes.

*Requirement: 

The learner must complete the activity and pass the posttest in JKO prior to claiming CE credit. (https://jko.jten.mil/). The Access Code to register for the course will be provided upon completion of the course in JKO.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for: physicians, nurses, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

  1. Describe steps to Change Management and identify potential barriers to changes.
  2. Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders based on respective roles and responsibilities.
  3. Implement and maintain management structures through continuous succession planning.
  4. Explain Stakeholder Sustainment Program products and resources.
  5. Educate End Users on the value and benefits of adhering to Enterprise standards.
  6. Recognize the importance of adherence to Enterprise Standard Workflows to avoid downstream impacts.
  7. Discuss the importance of maintaining communication pathways.
  8. Communicate and reinforce change by building and maintaining coalitions with key stakeholders.
