DHA: Sustainment Stakeholder Program Series- Enterprise Issue Resolution Process (EIRP) Workshop 2024

Program Description

Sustaining the adoption of MHS GENESIS requires strong management structures and End Users equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to handle any Health Information Technology (HIT) initiatives. The DHA Health Informatics End User Engagement (EUE) Team is hosting live workshops on the Sustainment Stakeholder Program to address this topic. This program is targeted to Commanders/Directors, Chief “x” Informatics Officer (CxIO), Informatics Steering Committee (ISC), Middle Manager, and Peer Expert Stakeholders in support of MHS GENESIS. This training will help participants to understand each stakeholder program and their respective role(s) in sustaining system and workflow changes.

Target Audience

This activity provides continuing education for physicians, nurses, health information professionals, and healthcare executives. A certificate of attendance is available for other attendees.

Learning Objectives

  1. Define and troubleshoot issues based on recommendations and resources available.
  2. Identify types of tickets, who to involve (and when), and the process for engaging your Site Core Team (SCT).
  3. Describe how to write a good problem statement and support this with documentation.
  4. Discuss systems (technology) and the various pathways (processes) for reporting and managing incidents and change requests.
