Ms. Eberle has worked for the Veterans Health Administration (VA) for 12 years, nine of them in the VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) system with the Joint Venture. She began her career as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse, then excelled in a VHA aspiring leadership course and moved up the ranks from Assistant Nurse Manager to Nurse Manager and now Chief Nurse. Ms. Eberle currently supervises clinical operations for the largest Joint Venture (JV) program (by volume and money exchanged) across the DHA network. She supervises over 110 nursing service staff members at David Grant Medical Center (DGMC) and collaborates daily with DHA staff to provide oversight and support for the JV programs.
